Devastated view of Malines after the 1914 bombing, showing ruined buildings and a soldier standing amidst the rubble. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated March 1, 1915, addressed to 'Bien Madame Bonne', signed 'H. Matrass', mentioning the war, the Germans and the front.
