Description

Colored postcard depicting a soldier in uniform holding a letter, surrounded by female figures and war scenes. The printed text in an arc says: 'LOVE MESSAGE — I THINK OF YOU — WHEN I WRITE TO YOU — TOWN — KISSES — SUPPORT YOU — SEE YOU SOON'. On the reverse, a handwritten note dated 'Ville Véronie 10 July 1914' is addressed to 'My dear Léonie', expressing joy at receiving the card and looking forward to the next letter.
