Printed red text: 'Punishment Motif — 4 days in the police station for soldier Lacrouëte, returning from a military march, washed his feet in the chambermaid's jug'. Reverse: 10-centime postage stamp, cancellation 'NANCY 95', handwritten address to Mr. Jean Desclaux, rue des Jardins, Thaon, Norway, and note 'Correspondence on the front is not accepted by all foreign countries'.
