Description

Caricature postcard showing three sergeants in field uniform, one balancing on his head, another speaking, with printed text: 'REASONS FOR PUNISHMENT: 2 days of guard duty from the chamber sergeant: laughed during the evening roll call, which caused an uproar impossible to deny.' The reverse features a handwritten address to Monsieur Freyche, Sergeant-Fourrier, 1440 rue d'Albantéri, Grenoble, and two obliterated green stamps marked 'ISERE 1730'.
