Description

Group of soldiers in campaign uniform, some standing, others sitting, holding rifles, in front of military camp tents. Handwritten text on the front expresses an affectionate message to a 'dear mother'. Reverse: French postmark of 1906, with a dispatch stamp from Mourmelon-le-Grand (Marne), address to Madame E. Fontaine in Haubourdin, and mention 'Part reserved for correspondence'.
