Description

Soldiers in field uniform, lying in line along a path and a canal, with printed text at the bottom: « 11. OUR « BLUE DEVILS » IN THE FIELD » and a handwritten inscription « This is what we have to do ». Reverse: handwritten text dated June 21, 1917, addressed to « My Baptiste », mentioning a night march and arrival at the barracks in Grasse, with a stamp and Grasse postmark.
