Description

Two soldiers in 1914 uniforms pose in front of a reconstruction of a German 420mm howitzer, displayed at the entrance of the Military Offices in Gérardmer. The printed text specifies its dimensions and actual weight. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated October 28th, 1912, addressed to a recipient in Épinal, mentions the postcard as sent from Alsace.
