Reverse: postcard from the 'War Notabilities' series published by Tuck & Sons, indicating his roles: Chief of Staff at the Admiralty (1910-11), 4th Sea Lord (1911-12), Commander of the 2nd and 3rd Cruiser Squadrons (1912-14).
