Description

View of the Avenue de la Gare in Reims, completely destroyed after the battles of World War I, with the war memorial in the center partially intact. The reverse features a dated correspondence from August 22, 1919, addressed to Mrs. Juliette Gourmet, mentioning the destroyed cathedral. The stamp and cancellation are illegible.
