View of the destruction of Boulevard Lundy in Reims in 1914, showing the ruins of a house destroyed by a single projectile. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated November 6, 1914, sent from Reims, describes the bombings and their psychological effects on the population. A postage stamp is affixed and the cancellation mark is visible.
