Young man in traditional costume (dark green cardigan, red skirt, red bonnet) holding a bouquet of roses, with printed text at the bottom: 'Thinking of you, I made this bouquet'. Reverse: handwritten letter dated January 30, 1916, addressed to 'My dear little Marcelle' from 'Blanis Laurent', with address in Gaitan, and note 'French Manufacturing'.
