Printed text at the bottom describing his birth in Gâtinais in 1749, his role as a leading orator at the Estates-General, his imprisonment, his decline in popularity, and his burial at the Panthéon. Back side: pre-printed recipient address, publisher 'Établissements Photographiques de Neurdein, Paris', and partially visible postmark with cancellation.
