Circular portrait of a young woman, Miss Maud Darrell, wearing a large hat decorated with feathers and a patterned scarf, with a red rose at the chest. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to 'Dear Hell' from 'This Peck, 10 Woolwich Rd, East Greenwich, London', with a green 1/2 penny stamp and a cancellation mark of 'CITY OF LONDON' dated April 15, 1908.
