Description

Engraved illustration showing the Virgin Mary holding the Child Jesus in a cradle, with rays of light, while two figures in long robes stand outside. The printed text at the bottom reads: 'Uno frate sendo infermo venne la vergine Maria con tre bottoli di latteuaro e canollo. Allauda di Dio.' The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to 'Sr. Geneviève Gendron, Via Gagliardo, 5, Alexandrie', with an Italian postage stamp of 30 centesimi and two cancellations from Parma dated August 15, 1916.
