Black and white view of the ruined towers of the old abbey of Mont-Saint-Éloi, destroyed by German bombings during the war 1914-1915. Printed text in French and English on the front. Reverse: handwritten correspondence dated April 7, 1918, addressed to brothers and sisters, with a mention of the post office of Saint-Martin and a visible cancellation 'D'ARTILLERIE' on the front.
