Panoramic view of Montbard from a meadow, showing the perched village with its church and rooftops. Printed text at the bottom: 'MONTBARD. - View taken from the meadow'. Reverse: handwritten text indicating that the postcard is from a collection of illustrated postcards found in a chocolate box, intended for a cousin. Red 10-centime stamp and two circular postmarks of 'DORST' and 'LE QUESNAY NORD' dated October 3, 1903.
