Interior view of the church of Montbenoît, highlighting carved wooden pews from the 16th century, adorned with complex motifs and statues. The reverse indicates that these pews were the work of Ferry Carondel, patron abbot of Montbenoît, who undertook their restoration in 1475 after the invasion of the Bernois. The postcard is addressed to Madame Marthe Ruellé at Le Royer, with handwritten text dated 12.12.17.
