View of the Monte-Carlo Theatre with its terraces and ornate façade, surrounded by palm trees and greenery. Printed text at the top: '708. MONTE-CARLO — Theatre and Terraces'. On the reverse, a handwritten note dated Tuesday, April 2, 1916, addressed to 'M. Machu', mentioning a stop in Saint-Etienne and a wait in Lyon.
