View of the keep of the Observatory in Montpellier, transformed into a hotel-restaurant and former Chappe telegraph, with a carriage in the foreground. The reverse side bears a handwritten address to Mme G. de Buse in Gissignies (Belgium), a 30-centime postage stamp, and a cancellation from Toulouse dated July 4, 1908.
