Description

Black and white view of the Montpellier Aqueduct, a Roman aqueduct 915 meters long, with its arches and sculpted decoration. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 18 July 1918, addressed to a 'little darling', mentioning a return to Salonica and a visit to Paris in November. The stamp and cancellation are visible at the top right.
