Black and white view of the Arc de Triomphe in Montpellier, framed by classical buildings and lampposts, with a few pedestrians. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated November 13, 1935, addressed to 'Dear Friend', mentioning a trip to Marseille and a visit to the Arc de Triomphe, signed 'Pierre'.
