View of the Arc de Triomphe in Montpellier, with classical buildings on either side and horse-drawn vehicles in circulation. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence addressed to Madame Verre in Paris, with a postmark from Montpellier dated July 30, 1917, and the note 'Franche-Comté Militaire'.
