Description

Night view of Montpellier's Water Castle under a crescent moon, with a multi-arched bridge in the background and a basin in the foreground. The printed text at the bottom identifies the location and the serial number. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated May 3, 1907, addressed to 'my dear Syramme,' mentions the city's archaeological and religious treasures, and indicates that the postcard is from G. Javlaud, publisher in Nantes.
