View of the cave in Montreuil-sur-Maine, where a statue of the Virgin Mary is nestled in the rock, in front of an altar covered with embroidered cloth and framed by an iron gate. On the reverse, the postcard bears the inscription 'POSTCARD' with the note 'All foreign countries do not accept correspondence on the front (Check with the Post Office)', and a small brown stain near the bottom right.
