Description

Memorial stone with a lying lion statue, dedicated to the dead of the 130th Division and the 260th and 302nd Infantry Brigades. Text engraved on the base mentions the association of the 130th Division and the date 1916. The reverse indicates that the monument is located at the intersection of Sainte-Fine, at the extreme point of the German advance, work of the sculptor René Paris, and bears the postmark of the Douaumont Ossuary (Meuse).
