Description

Postcard showing a commemorative obelisk of the Battle of Castillon, dated 17 July 1453, with inscription 'WAS DECLARED THE VICTORY OF THE KING OF ENGLAND OVER THE MIDDLE PROVINCES OF FRANCE'. On the reverse, handwritten address to Madame M. Meynader in Constantine (Algeria) with stamp and postmark of Castillon-sur-Garonne dated 23 July 1903.
