Description

Postcard depicting the monument commemorating the three sieges of Belfort (1814, 1815, 1870-1871), inaugurated on August 15, 1912 by President Fallières. The monument, located on Place de la République, is adorned with symbolic statues and a man in uniform in the foreground. The reverse features a 10-centime green stamp, a postmark from Gareneuve (Saône) dated September 27, 1915, and a handwritten address to Paris.
