Description

Commemorative stone monument with a lion sculpture, erected at Carrefour de Sainte-Fine in 1916 by the 130th Division Association. The reverse indicates that it marks the furthest advance of the German line and mentions the sculptor René Paris. Postmark and postal cancellation from Douaumont (Meuse) are present.
