Description

Black and white view of a river, the Canee, winding through rocks and dense vegetation in a canyon. Printed text at the bottom: 'MORTAIN (Manche) — La Canee among the Rocks'. On the reverse, handwritten text dated June 7, 1912, addressed to parents, mentioning a visit to Saint-Lévier and a promise to take a walk to recover from fatigue. Postmark of 10 centimes of the French Republic canceled in 1915.
