Description

Black-and-white view of the entrance to the Château de Chaalis, surrounded by trees and ancillary buildings. Printed text at the bottom: 'Around MORTFONTAINE (Oise) — Entrance to the Château de Chaalis'. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence dated 3-6-36 to Mme Chérèle Guellier in Paris, with a 20-centime French stamp and a postmark from Cistria (Oise) dated 16 June 1936.
