Description

Colorized postcard depicting the buildings of the Carpenters Shop and Spinning House at Mount Vernon, VA, surrounded by trees and a paved path. The reverse features a handwritten letter from Tokyo to Paris dated April 5, 1920, sent by A. Watt to Mrs. D. Maria, with a 70 yen Japanese stamp and a Tokyo cancellation. The publisher is listed as 'Gos ET Building, Tokyo' and '© 1920, by the Mount Vernon Association'.
