Description

Postcard showing the Klapperstein (bell stone) in front of the Town Hall in Mülhausen i. Els., with a German inscription on a cartouche. The reverse has a handwritten address to Marseille, a cancellation from Mülhausen dated 22.8.1907, and a 15 pfennigs Reich postage stamp. A commemorative plaque indicates the renovation dates (1693, 1779, 1813).
