Description

Statue of the Virgin Mary holding the Child Jesus on a base, in front of an ornate metal cross and a stone slab engraved 'VIIIth Pilgrimage to Jerusalem 1883'. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 12/9/66 from Henri Monique to his dear Aunt, sent from Paris, mentioning their arrival in Paris and their hope to see her soon. Postmark 'EDICAP COULEURS NATURELLES' with cancellation 'Paris 1575'.
