Description

Engraved portrait of Murillo, the Spanish painter born in Seville in 1617, who studied under Moya and then Velázquez, settled in Seville in 1645 and died in 1682. The Louvre holds seven of his paintings, including « The Immaculate Conception of the Virgin » purchased for 600,000 francs. Reverse: postcard from the publisher Neurdein Frères, Paris, reserved for the address.
