Description

Marble bust of Alexis Piron (1725–1794), sculpted by J.-F. Caffieri, displayed at the Dijon Museum. The inscription on the base reads: « Cigti qui ne fut rien, n'est même aucunien ». The reverse is reserved for the recipient's address.
