Photographic reproduction of a painting by Gérard (1770–1837) depicting the entry of Henri IV into Paris on 22 March 1594, from the collection of masterpieces of the Louvre Museum. The reverse features a handwritten correspondence dated 20 November, addressed to 'Monsieur' in Algiers, with a postage stamp of 0 fr. 10 for France and abroad, and mentions the publisher Deschiens.
