View of a monumental lighthouse surrounded by many cemetery crosses, with an inscription at the bottom indicating 'Notre-Dame de Lorette - The Lighthouse and the Cemetery'. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 14 August 1915, addressed to parents, mentioning a trip to Arras and a return to Calville (Somme), with a French 4-centime stamp and a postmark of 'ARRAS 14 AOÛT 1915'.
