Description

Monumental statue of King Stanislas of Lorraine, who died in 1766, within his mausoleum in the Church of Bonsecours in Nancy. The front shows the royal statue surrounded by two allegorical figures, Lorraine and Charity, on a veined marble base. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to M. P. Allier in Paris, with a postal cancellation.
