Black-and-white aerial view of the Hemicycle of the Place de la Carrière in Nancy, with a large classical building in the background and wooded hills on the horizon. The reverse features handwritten text dated 28 September 1951, addressed to Mme Lytikka Berne in Saint-Denis, with a 12-centime blue stamp and a Nancy postmark. The publisher is listed as 'Éditions de L'Estel, 84, rue Lacourbo, 5e arrondissement'.
