View of Place Stanislas in Nancy, highlighting ornate ironwork grilles, with a classical building in the background and a few pedestrians. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated Nancy, 16 April 1916, addressed to 'Mes chers Petits Amis', mentioning correspondence with Charlatto and fragile health. A stamp is affixed at the top right, with partial cancellation.
