Description

View of Place Stanislas in Nancy, with its classical buildings and an ornate iron fence in the foreground. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated July 15, 1944, sent from the City Hall (south side) to Madame Légentil in Tournus (Yonne), with a 1 franc 20 stamp from the General de Gaulle series and a Nancy cancellation.
