View of the Citadel Gate in Nancy, adorned with a statue of Duke Charles III, founder of the New Town, created by Viard in 1863. The front bears the publisher's inscription 'Maison des Magasins Réunis, publisher, Nancy'. The reverse shows a postcard sent to Madame J. Martin, Paris, on Friday, April 25, 1934, with two 10-centime stamps and a Nancy cancellation.
