Black and white view of the Porte de la Craffe in Nancy, with its two conical towers and central passage. The reverse has a handwritten letter addressed to Mr. Dular in Paris, a 12-centime stamp of the French Republic, and a postmark 'ARMÉE FRANÇAISE ESPRIT JEUNE TECHNIQUE MODERNE'.
