Description

View of the Porte Désilles in Nancy, erected in 1785 to celebrate the birth of the Dauphin Louis XVI, with surrounding urban buildings and a pedestrian in period attire. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence dated 28/8/09 to Madame Dorizon at Le Lude, with a green 'République Française' stamp and cancellation 'NANCY 28-8-09'.
