Description

Black and white view of Place Stanislas in Nancy, taken from the Arc de Triomphe, showing the classical buildings and statues adorning the balustrades. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Georg in Fougères, dated January 15, 1937, with a signature and a publisher's stamp from Art V. Raëler. Two 20-centime stamps of the French Republic are affixed at the top right, canceled with a circular Nancy postmark.
