View of the apse of the Basilica Saint-Nicolas in Nantes, with its Gothic architecture and pointed spire, under a cloudy sky. In the foreground, pedestrians and a tram on a paved street. Reverse: handwritten correspondence dated September 25, 1917, addressed to 'Maman' in Orleans, with a mention of 'details that do not like very much' and a note on the 'designation' of the sender.
