View of the fish market in Nantes on the banks of the Loire, with moored boats and the Hôtel-Dieu visible in the background. The building features a sign for 'CONSERVES AMIEUX-FRÈRES'. The reverse has a handwritten address to 'Madame P. Glais' in Mézillac, a circular postmark from Nantes dated 1936, and a mention of 'Correspondance' for foreign countries.
