View of the Saint-Pierre Gate in Nantes, with its medieval architecture and arched passage. A green 40-centime postmark of the French Republic is affixed. On the reverse, handwritten script addresses the card to 'M. Mayot, Pontchartrain, at Condé-sur-l'Escaut', with a postal stamp from Nantes dated April 25, 1909.
