Black and white view of the quays in Nantes with several port cranes and the Transbordeur in the background, under a cloudy sky. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 19.9.52 addressed to Madame Gambade in Saint-Gildas-de-Rhuys, with a 12-centime postage stamp and a cancellation mark 'NANTES' indicating the air mail sending to Morocco. The publisher is listed as 'Éditions d'Art Flor' and 'Photographie Véritable'.
