Statue of General Mellinet (1798–1894) in Nantes, in military uniform, arm raised and sword in hand, on a pedestal surrounded by a fence. Printed text on the pedestal and at the top of the postcard. Reverse: red 10-centime stamp, Nantes postmark, handwritten address to Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Vambolle in Paris, and handwritten message.
